EDITOR'S
LETTER
Refabricate means to reinvent and repurpose to renew and repair. We’re so excited to release Refabricate, a magazine focused on clothing circularity in North Carolina. This issue features six organizations, and the inspiring people behind them, who all share a passion for sustainable fashion and the reduction of textile waste. Discover with us all the unique ways that these organizations are building a greener future for fashion.
The Refabricate team and I hope that you feel inspired to seek out similar organizations within your own communities. We hope you take to heart all the alternatives you have to participating in the fast fashion trap. Our goal is to help you turn your own fashion habits greener.
I’d like to dedicate this issue to our planet and all of the individuals working to make it a place where we can call home for generations to come.
